For some telescope, we have had great success adjusting tilt for the complete refractor stack. We have designed adapters for some telescopes. The adapters are tailored to generation 2 TiltAdjuster instrument.
 
It is possible to use the old M48 TiltAdjuster if an M48 extension adapter is used.
 
Note that the use of the TiltAdjuster to adjust tilt on the complete stack is based on the assumption that the surface of the front ring is perpendicular to the optical axis! We have not tested all telescopes so we cannot guarantee that it works well for all.
